Hey, my name's Rachel. I was looking for some pictures of San Clemente, for some reason, when I came across your page. I'm from San Clemente and San Juan area. When I saw the photos you had taken, it certainly took me back... to like 2 months ago, lol. Since I moved away, I've missed San Clemente so bad! Especially when I came across your page. Every photo I looked at brought back so many memories! For example, the first time I hung out with my fiance was at Duke's Bitchin Burgers... I used to like right live
next to Pipes Cafe and would pick up the OC Weekly every Th out front... When my grampa died, we went to Sonny's and talked about his life... When my little brother was hungry, I'd go to Pedros to get him lunch... The Sunday market on Del Mar wasa weekly tradition. Walking down Del Mar and being on the pier every Sunday was like going to church. Oh, don't even get me started on the pier! Tomas, the old man at the end, he's my man! Taught me so much about fishing and cooking and people... In fact, I lived with him and his friend for a couple months before I had to move away... I remember the unvieling of the Marine Monument and when Raindow Sandals took over the friendship Center... I shopped at Trestles and BC.. I remember the Woody show that Sunday! Tomas taught me about the grains on the wood and how a couple of Woodies had a tube framing. Remember the guy with the Woody that was overly dressed with shit? It looked real cheesy, I thought. And so many more memories... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to tell you my life's story. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks and let you know your work is being appreciated.. by a liitle ol girl who misses her home town :/ Ciao for now!
